ASIAN KITCHEN

The Human Race started off with good weather at 4.00 pm yesterday, although some parts of the island was raining.  After the race we proceeded to dinner at Citylink Mall.

It was crowded and waited 20 mins for a seat.

We ordered drinks to quench our thirst first.  Red dates longan tea - it was not too sweet.

To get the taste of varieties we ordered plates of dishes to share.

Village Tofu - deep fried tofu with hot-sour sauce topped with crushed peanuts and shredded cucumbers.  The tofu was soft and fluffy with right amount of crispiness to the skin.

The guo-tie was not that fantastic, too little fillings.  The skin was thick and looked as though the fillings were filled to the brim.

The fried rice looked appetizing but bland in taste.

The chilli crab noodles was appetizing with 2 softshell crabs which was quite big in size.  The gravy was thick and tasty as if it contained plenty of crab roes.

Zha Jiang Mian - An appetizing dish which makes you crave for more.
